I don’t want…
…to cry when I get off the phone with you.
…to have a salesperson call my your wife and secretly cry inside, while I laugh with you about silly salespeople.
…to hear how she said you were a flower kind of guy, because you never give me flowers, but apparently once upon a time you gave them to her.
…to have you tell me you don’t like animal print because it used to be her thing.
…to feel alone when we are in the same room, because of a videogame.
I want…
…to joke about silly things we will register for when we get married.
…to dream together about the children we may one day have.
…you to give me flowers, not because you’re a flower guy, but because you know I’m a flower gal.
…to be spontaneous and jump you on the couch when you least expect it and not fear being rebuffed.
…you to show up at my house unexpectedly just because you missed me and had to see me.

I hope one day he changes so you get everything you 'want'.
I've dated guys that have made me feel like your 'I dont want' list & it took me a while to realize that they'd never change, not even for me. Then, I met the hubs & he was everything I always wanted & we've never had try to make it work. It just all falls into place on it's own. I hope with all my heart that you get that one day :)
I remember feeling like that in a past relationship. It sucks.
I know you probably don't want to hear this, I know I didn't at the time, but close friends of mine just kept telling me that you can't change people. They have to want to change. And if they don't, it's not worth it. I hope everything works out for the best!
I'm so behind - I wish I would have seen this the day you wrote it :(
I've said my piece before and I'll say it again - you deserve to be with someone who treasures you, not just someone who is ok with you being around. But, at the same time I know how hard it can be to just leave, too.
(hugs)
Wait, he turns down sex with you? What a dumbass.
